Priority Care Ambulance
A non-emergency medical transport service serving central North Carolina needed a complete website rebuild — a professional, multi-page Astro site with fully functional forms, spam protection, and HIPAA-conscious email delivery.
Background
Priority Care Ambulance provides non-emergency BLS ambulance and medical transport across Wake, Orange, and Johnston Counties in NC. When they came to me, they had an existing website that hadn't been delivered to a workable standard by a previous contractor — leaving the business without an online presence that matched the professionalism of their service. They needed a full rebuild that clearly communicated what they do, who they serve, and provided reliable operational tools for the business.
Approach
The project involved designing and building a complete multi-page Astro site from the ground up — home, about, services, contact, feedback, and employment pages. Given the healthcare-adjacent nature of the business, the forms required particular care. Patient feedback, employment applications, and general contact inquiries all needed to be reliable, spam-resistant, and handled in a way that respects patient privacy. Cloudflare Turnstile was integrated for bot protection without the friction of traditional CAPTCHAs. Form submissions are delivered via Resend to Egress-protected email addresses, keeping the pipeline HIPAA-conscious end to end. The site is built on Astro with Custom/Tailwind CSS and deployed to Cloudflare Pages.
Outcome
Priority Care now has a professional multi-page web presence that accurately represents the business and its team. All operational contact forms — patient feedback, employment applications, and general inquiries — work reliably with spam protection in place and privacy-aware delivery throughout.
